Student must complete a credit seminar offered by CFCU which will go over the basics of credit and how to build and maintain good credit.

Interest rates will be calculated based upon a 9% Variable Annual Percentage Rate as a base rate, with the rate adjusted annually in accordance with the enrolled student's grade point average (GPA) on the final grade transcript, rounded up to the nearest .25%.

The interest rate on the CFCU Student VISA will be initially based on the student's first semester or final high school grade transcript.

Future VISA rates will be determined annually by the last grading period of each school year of the institution being attended.

Students must be enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education and remain enrolled in order to maintain their CFCU Student VISA credit limit.

When the student graduates or leaves school, the interest rate will convert to the CFCU Relationship VISA at the time of graduation or termination of college classes.

Transcripts must be submitted to CFCU no later than the last business day of August to facilitate review of this interest rate change.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUCH INFORMATION BY THIS DATE WILL RESULT IN THE RATE BEING ADJUSTED TO THE CURRENT CFCU RELATIONSHIP VISA RATE.
